Internet Resources Online Course
Successful Navigation of this course
When you login to the course, always check the ANNOUNCEMENTS. Your
instructor will guide you through the week through the use of the
announcements, in the course calendar and in the discussions. The
announcement page will change every Sunday and possibly throughout the
week if unexpected opportunities or problems arise. By remembering to
check the announcements you’ll always know if you are on track.
Also check the resources available on the main menu bar on the left-hand
side of the page or the menu bar at the top of the page.
-
Check the HELP/ WATER COOLER forum. If
any of us gets stuck, we’ll post a question here. All are invited to
help one another with problems. Checking this forum each time you
login to class will create big dividends for all of us. Not only is it
important to ask for help but also important to give it. When a
classmate is STUCK, they need immediate assistance. As a learning
community we can easily meet that need. The WATER COOLER is also a
place to let colleagues know about any other things happening in your
life that are not directly related to the weekly assignments,
- The class is constructed in
weekly discussions. Please check the internet links and new lesson
resources in the discussion board on the weekend so that you'll be
ready to post your new discussion on Monday. Throughout the week,
reply to classmates when you can add to the discussion. You need not
reply to every thread but should reply to at least 5 discussion
different colleagues during the week.
- Any questions: Post to help
discussion now.
